Kid's Run
21st Annual Marafun Kid's 2 Mile Run
The Kids' Run continues to grow. This two-mile kids' event is noncompetitive. The event is open to the first 1500 kids 12 and under and their chaperones.
Date: Sunday, October 5th
Time: 8:00 A.M.
Place: Same start and finish locations as the Marathon.
Entry Fees: $15 for first 1500 children 12 and under and $15 for their chaperones (i.e. parents, teachers, etc). Ribbons for all finishers and other goodies after the run. Enter by mail through September 18; Enter at the Portland Hilton on October 4th & 5th if space is available.
Packets: Packet pick-up at the Portland Hilton on Friday during Expo Hours 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:0 am to 7:00 pm. NO DAY OF RACE ENTRY OR PACKET PICKUP POSSIBLE.
Course: Generally follows the first two miles of the Marathon course with turn at S.W. Salmon and finish at Justice Center on SW 3rd between SW Main and SW Madison. Click here to view a map.
Other Notes: The Marafun is a non-competitive event exclusively for children under 12 and their chaperones. Chaperones are required for all children age 6 and under.
