Finisher Shirts

In 2008 all Marathon finishers received a long-sleeved performance shirt, custom-manufactured for the Portland Marathon. Be sure to enter your correct size on the entry form (shirt fabric is non-shrink). PLEASE NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO SIZE EXCHANGES AT THE TIME OF PICKUP.

Post Race Party

Awards will be presented to the top men and women finishers during the free marathon post event Party held at the Portland Hilton. The party will begin at 11:30 a.m. and is open to all event entrants, (including Marathon, 5 Miler, Mayor's Walk and Kid's Run), and their guests. It is also open to all Volunteers. Awards presentations will start at 1:00 p.m. Winners not present at the Party will receive their awards by mail. Food will be available at a modest cost. The party will have entertainment provided by the Dan Balmer Trio and his B-3 organ.

Massage Practitioners

A limited number of licensed massage therapists will be available for all marathon finishers. Sessions last 20, 40, and 60 minutes and are available for a fee. All post-race massages will take place inside the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower.

Pre-race massage will also be available at Hilton Portland & Executive Tower both Friday and Saturday. Come to the Sports & Fitness Expo or call the Hilton Athletic Club directly at (503) 220-2672 for all pre and post race massage appointments.

Photographs

Personal on-course and finish-line photos will be taken by photographers from FlashPro, a Portland photo- processor. A variety of event photos will be taken. Last year over 96% of the runners and walkers were photographed at either the finish or out along the course. Don't forget to smile. Please do not cover up your number. Runners and walkers can obtain a special identification ribbon from FlashPro at the Expo. It is not required, but helps photographers spot you on the course.

Photos will be displayed on the Portland Marathon website, and may also be purchased online. They will be viewable later on event day, along with the results.
